What is Promotion Wars?

Promotion Wars is a text-based Wrestling Booking Simulator for Windows by Adam Jennings (me!). 

What is a text-based Wrestling Booking Simulator?

Want to run a wrestling promotion, book the shows, matches, feuds, title changes? Sign new wrestlers, fire wrestlers, manage your finances, deal with injuries, keep wrestlers happy and grow your promotion while trying not to get fired? This is the game for you.

If you know the old football manager games Championship Manager 97-98 / Championship Manager 01-02, you'll see their influence in Promotion Wars and its design. 

How do I play it and how much does it cost?

You can download it from right here. Download and install the game onto your Windows PC or laptop, then  download a Data Pack to play (that's what contains all the wrestlers and promotions, there are Data Packs that represent various eras of wrestling, or modern day - take your pick). Need help downloading and installing? Here's a video - you'll be playing the game within a few minutes.

The game is completely free. You get the full game, to keep forever, with no adverts or any catches. 

Is this a new game or what?

The first version of Promotion Wars came out in the year 2000, and was widely considered to be the best game of its kind at the time. The game was updated until late 2005, then was left untouched... until a new era began in 2021! The game was once again regularly updated and developed, by the original creator (me!). Those improvements are still continuing, with new features being added every few months.
